来自于范软作者Janole，关于Gravity的两个好消息

更新：昨晚推出的1.20 5570 版本已经可以设置全局API，还有大字体，Enjoy。

使用Gravity怕是Gravity用户对Twitter上瘾的一个重要原因了。尽管有种种限制，现在使用Gravity上Twitter是比较方便的——通过设置自己的API。

然而，目前的1.20 5562版本你要设置自定义API的话，只能使用identi.ca账号类型（用相同的Twitter账号登录）。速度很快，连接很顺畅。但是遗憾的是，identi.ca账号类型的功能与Twitter账号类型的功能不可同日而语，Janoloe在开发Gravity的时候，没有着力太多，所以它的功能不如Twitter账号完全。

解决的方法，就是让Gravity的Twitter账号类型也可以使用自定义的API，是不是只要软件只加入这个设置选项就好了?

Ole带给我们更好的消息：

An alternative way would be to configure the proxy / private API URL setting through the registration server that’s contacted by Gravity for checking for updates ( and if the app is registered or not. )

I could even make it so that a private API URL / proxy would be auto-configured for all requests coming from *.cn for example.

The auto-configuration solution would be nice as I could change it to whatever entry (private API or even back to http://twitter.com/ ) and it would be automatically configured/changed in each Gravity application right after connecting.

而关于它的另一个好消息就是作者已经在着手让Gravity支持RSS预览。这也意味着，如果你阅读的推中有链接的话，如果它本身是支持RSS的（比如ifanr的推荐文章），那么你点击这个链接，可能就是直接看到了全部文本内容，而不用手机的浏览器另开一个窗口，忍受等待的煎熬。
