# 微软 Windows 9 明年 4 月份见

自从 Windows 8 之后，微软更新这一系统的节奏是越来越快了。根据 [Winsupersite](http://winsupersite.com/windows-8/threshold-be-called-windows-9-ship-april-2015) 的消息，微软将于明年 4 月份发布下一代操作系统 Windows 9，代号为 Threshold，并将在今年的 BUILD 大会上公布新系统的发布计划。

Threshold 特性可能包含以下几点：开始菜单回归，允许 Metro 风格的应用程序以窗口的形式在传统桌面运行，这样可以打破传统桌面与 Metro 之间的隔离，Windows 8 总给人界面分裂的感觉，其他的特性暂时未知。

Threshold 将会有以下几点关键信息：

- 为了与 Windows 8 划清界限，新系统直接用 Windows 9 作为新名称，这是现有的计划，未来可能会变；
- Threshold 将带来 Metro 2.0，完善和修复这一界面的设计语言，传统桌面上的 Metro 窗口将会是主特性之一；
- 在正式发布前，Threshold 会经历 3 个里程碑版本。

另外，去年 10 月推出的 Windows 8.1 也将在今年再次更新，以更新包的形式推送，被称为 Update 1，有望与 Windows Phone 8.1 一同发布。

Threshold 的责任重大，从微软刻意远离 Windows 8 可以看出，当前的这个系统并不成功。Windows 8 是在 2012 年 10 月份发布，主打传统界面与触摸界面的融合，在发布的第一个月只获得了 [1.09% 的份额](http://www.ifanr.com/255912)，并持续增长放缓，远不如 Windows 7 那么受欢迎。 [Net Application](http://www.ifanr.com/news/392762) 在 1 月份公布的数据显示，Windows 8 在 2013 年 12 月份额为 10.15%，而 Windows 7 高达 49.26%。

另外，从终端产品销售表现来看，Windows RT 的市场表现也不好，微软如何改良 Windows RT 也成为 BUILD 大会令人关注的话题。

此外，微软还需要解决一个棘手的问题，就是如何处置 Windows、Windows RT、Windows Phone 三系统并存的问题，毕竟消费者时常会混淆这三者（尤其是前两者）的概念，微软是否会合并其中两个，令人关注。

好在微软即将完成重组，并选出新任 CEO，这对于 Windows 的后续发展极其关键。
