# 没有 Android 版，Google 为 iOS 平台推出了一款专属应用

这款应用的名字是 Motion Stills，其主要功能是：通过与 iPhone 上的 Live Photos 功能相结合，为 iOS 用户生成更加漂亮和稳固的 GIF 动图；并通过短信或其他方式分享出去。

Motion Stills 主要解决的是用户在拍摄 Live Photos 或者视频时的手抖问题。由于手机拍摄的不稳定性，经常导致拍摄出来的画面会出现抖动的情况。而 Motion Stills 可以对抖动的画面进行自动修正，使其看起来更加稳固。

根据 Google 在官方博客中推送的[一篇文章](https://research.googleblog.com/2016/06/motion-stills-create-beautiful-gifs.html)，Motion Stills 主要采用了一项名为 [Video Stabilization](https://research.googleblog.com/2012/05/video-stabilization-on-youtube.html)（中文可译为：数字视频去抖动）的算法技术。此前这项技术已经对上亿的视频和 GIF 动图进行画面稳定性的优化，其主要原理是：通过编程来构建出一个虚拟的拍摄路径，在此路径下对画面进行重新定位和调整，最后删去那些由于抖动而产生的多余画面。

该技术此前主要应用于 YouTube；通过 Motion Stills，它最终得以使用在智能手机上，而且使用起来非常简单。只需要获得访问手机照片的权限，它就能够轻松完成操作；整个过程不需要联网，也不需要登入任何账号。

此外，Motion Still 也结合了Google Photos 中的一些其他功能，比如说通过算法将几张相关联的照片联系在一起自动生成 GIF 动图等。

目前，Motion Still 已经在苹果 [App Store](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/motion-stills-create-live/id1086172168?ls=1&mt=8) 上线；不过 Android 用户也不要太沮丧，因为未来 Google 可能据 iOS 用户的反馈，将这项功能添加到 Google Photos 中。
