# 用户将在 10 月底迎来 Windows 8\.1 零售版

微软正在紧锣密鼓地测试 Windows 8.1，不过用户想要拿到零售版恐怕还要再等一段时间。[ZDNet](http://www.zdnet.com/microsofts-windows-8-1-when-will-users-get-the-final-bits-7000019281/) 专栏作者 Mary Jo Foley 最早拿到 Windows 8.1 RTM 版的具体上市时间，随后得到 [The Verge](http://www.theverge.com/2013/8/12/4615772/windows-8-1-october-general-availability) 线人的确认：Windows 8.1 零售版将在 10 月底发布，普通用户最早在 11 月前就能用上新系统了。

微软合作伙伴和 PC 制造商们预计在 8 月后期拿到 OEM 专版，两个月的间隔方便厂商们测试和优化驱动。10 月底发布 Windows 8.1 的时候还将同步上市几款来自 OEM 商的 7 寸和 8 寸 平板，支持小尺寸设备是 Windows 8.1 和 Windows 8 的主要区别之一。

即将上市的 Windows 8.1 增加了[不少更新](http://www.ifanr.com/307766)，最大的变化是加入了经典的开始按钮，其他内容包括深度整合 Bing 搜索、增加两款 LiveTile 尺寸等。网上泄露的[临近发售版](http://www.theverge.com/2013/8/12/4613248/windows-8-1-build-9741-screenshots-tutorial-changes) Windows 8.1 中，微软还增加了一些操作说明，同时借用不少 Windows Phone 的菜单风格，希望能减少用户的上手难度。
