# Project Siena 上线，非专业程序员也能开发应用

微软在 Windows Store 上线了一款名为 [Project Siena](http://apps.microsoft.com/windows/en-us/app/5ae47651-e8f3-4e41-aab7-e19ab1b80180) 的新工具，非专业开发者也可以通过 Project Siena 开发 Windows 应用。

Siena 使用 HTML5 和 JavaScript 编写，开发者也可以使用他们喜欢的开发工具进行扩展。Siena 对企业、网络数据以及媒体内容的兼容还不错，目前支持 SharePoint 列表、Excel & Azure 表格和 RSS 订阅。

现在来看，Siena 很可能就是此前代号为 “[AppMagic](https://twitter.com/bdsams/status/413663371624329216)” 的内部项目。今年八月，微软还针对 Windows Phone 上线了一款名为 [App Studio](http://www.ifanr.com/news/328350) 的在线工具。普通人利用 App Studio 中的现有模板可以快速地创建一款 Windows Phone 应用。不过出于对应用质量的考虑，通过 App Studio 开发的应用无法上传到 Windows Phone 应用商店。

在此之前，微软还有一款名为 “[LightSwitch](http://www.zdnet.com/blog/microsoft/visual-studio-lightswitch-will-it-emerge-from-sleeper-status/12779)” 的工具，同样面向非专业的程序员。现在，LightSwitch 已经成为 Visual Studio 的一部分。
