# Google 翻译将增拍照、语音实时翻译

虽然 Google 翻译经常会被拿来当反面教材，但是出国旅行、突然遇到语言不通的外国人、外文论文看到眼花时，Google 翻译的确也可以“江湖救急”。据 [Phonearena](http://www.phonearena.com/news/Google-Translate-will-soon-include-real-time-Word-Lens-image-translation-and-conversation-auto-detect_id63575) 报道，Google 翻译最近又会有新的更新，将支持拍照实时翻和语音实时翻。

Google 今年 5 月收购了一款可以实现拍照快速翻译的应用 Word Lens，如今 Google 打算将这一功能融合到“Google 翻译”的应用中。使用更新后的 Google 翻译，用户在遇到不认识的菜单、广告牌、账单等只需拍下照片， Google 翻译就能将图中文字实时翻译过来。不过目前只支持英语和各种语言之间的翻译。

此外，新版 Google 翻译还将支持对话中的实时翻译。用户设定好两种语言后，聊天时 Google 翻译会在语音到达用户前将其翻译成目标语言。整个过程无需用户手动操作来实现语音翻译，也不用长时间等待，对话会自然流畅许多。

目前，新版 Google 翻译具体的发布时间还不清楚，但 [Androidpolice ](http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/12/06/exclusive-an-upcoming-version-of-google-translate-will-include-wordlens-image-translation-and-auto-detection-for-conversation-mode/)可以确定上述内容会成为 Google 翻译的新增功能。
