# Google 新头衔：虚拟运营商

据 [The Information ](https://www.theinformation.com/Google-s-Next-Telecom-Move-Becoming-a-Wireless-Carrier?token=5878dbac5d4472844fd10598ff5438fc)消息，Google 正在计划与 T-Mobile 和 Sprint 合作，推出其虚拟运营商服务。新项目代号 Project Nova，Google 将从这两大运营商购买带宽，并借此建立虚拟运营商服务，让用户增加一个选择。

Google 提供虚拟运营商服务，将通过控制通讯网络来更好了解和改善其销售设备的用户体验。Google 选择与 T-Mobile 和 Sprint 合作，当然也能实现更好的网络覆盖。此举将使 Google 更好地抓住手机市场，并可能因此推出更廉价的合约机计划。不过，目前 Google 并未公布具体计划。

T-Mobile 和 Sprint 在美国份额位居三、四，他们与份额最大的 Verizon 和 AT&T 两家相比还存在一定差距。然而 Google 此前便与 Verizon 不和，Nexus 6 甚至不支持 Verizon 网络。Google 与 T-Mobile 则保持良好关系，他们曾联手出售 LG G1 手机。

[报道称](http://www.geekwire.com/2015/google-reportedly-partnering-sprint-t-mobile-sell-phone-plans/)，Project Nova 将很快推出，其负责人 Nick Fox 称原本去年秋季便打算宣布这一服务。虚拟运营商服务长期以来备受关注，Google、苹果等科技巨头都有过考虑。苹果公司去年发售的 iPad 产品便推出“Apple SIM卡”，用户可以在 AT&T、Sprint 和 T-Mobile网络下运行。
