# Giphy 获 1700 万美元 B 轮融资，看看 GIF 就知道他们有多兴奋

[据 TechCrunch 报道](http://techcrunch.com/2015/01/29/betaworks-backed-giphy-lands-17-million-series-b-led-by-lightspeed-venture-partners/)，GIF 垂直搜索引擎 Giphy 获得了 1700 万美元的 B 轮融资，由 Lightspeed Venture Partners 领投。这轮融资过后，Giphy 的估值达到了 8000 万美元。

Giphy 于 2013 年 4 月 加入 Betaworks 孵化器，从一开始的 6 个人增加至 16 人，目前依然在 Betaworks 的纽约办公室办公。

在获得融资后，Giphy 的 COO Adam Leibsohn 透露了他们 2015 年的计划：

> 我们 2015 年会推出更酷的产品，比如让用户可以轻易创造 GIF 的工具。我们在过去一年里学习到了许多，知道 GIF 爱好者需要什么，我们并不甘心只做一个 GIF 库或者搜索引擎。除此之外，我们还得找一间新的办公室。
