为了使手机更加轻薄，三星在推出 Galaxy S6 和 Galaxy S6 Edge 的时候，抛弃了原有旗舰机的特色，后盖不可拆卸，且不支持内存卡扩展。尽管拥有华丽屏幕，优质摄像头，标准旗舰机配置，但在很多三星迷眼里，不能像以前一样换电池、加内存卡，始终是一种缺憾。现在，手机配件品牌 Incipio 为了弥补这种缺憾，专门为 S6 设计出了一款 Incipio Offgrid 外置电池套。

这款外置电池套为手机提供了一块 3700mAh 的电池，是 Galaxy S6 本身电池容量（2550mAh）的一倍多；存储上，它支持 microSD 卡扩展，容量高达 128GB。除此之外，它还支持 NFC（Near Field Communication，近场通讯），高通的 Charge 2.0 快充技术。

针对 Galaxy S6 和 Galaxy S6 Edge，Offgrid 有两种版型，包括耳机线、数据线在内，市场售价 89.99 美元。类似产品比如 Mophie 的 Spacestation 可以提供更大的电池容量和内存，但起价很高，32GB 就要 150 美元，128GB 则高达 300 美元。
